Great color and cheap futon cover, April 30, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Royal Heritage Home Purple Full Size Futon Cover (Kitchen) For some reason it seems to be impossible to get futon covers in a brick and mortar store. Even Ikea doesn't sell them, they have some stuff that only fits their mattresses and Target/Bed Bath and Beyond have like 3 ugly and expensive colors.
I got the purple version. I like this color because it's dark enough not to prominently feature cat hair and stains. I was worried that it would be stiff or scratchy due to the other reviews but for whatever reason mine seems to be fine. It was easy to put on and the zipper seems sturdy. It's obviously not a soft as a sheet but I since we use it as a couch I put regular bed sheets on mine anyway. I think it's a reasonable texture for something used as a couch. You will have to wash it to get out the crease marks when you first buy it.
The only thing I was a little disappointed about is that there weren't any cool patterns. If I could justify spending the money I'd get the cover with this futon if I could :... Read more

You get what you pay for, January 24, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Royal Heritage Home Black Full Size Futon Cover (Kitchen) These are okay - the price is great, but the material is too thin to be a couch cover and too thick and scratchy to be a bed cover, it went on really easily, had no problems with the zipper and I like that it was 3-sided so taking on and off was easy to do. The picture of the color wasn't accurate (I ordered the "Smoke" color, thought it was a light grey but it ended up being a dark, bluish/grey color that matched the walls a little too closely) and I am returning them.
